THE FIFTY
The Fifty is a national campaign from VSCO featuring one photographer from each of the fifty states. As the Rhode Island selection, State of the Union will appear on a billboard in the state and in a feature on VSCO.
THE WORK
State of the Union is the first image in an ongoing series following American symbols, protest, and the current state of the country. A torn, sun-faded flag is stretched across a doorway, reading less as welcome than as barrier.
