State of the Union, Provincetown, MA.

State of the Union has been selected by VSCO to represent Rhode Island in The Fifty, a national campaign featuring one photographer from each state. The image will appear on a billboard in Rhode Island, location to be announced soon.


It opens an ongoing series on American symbols, protest, and the current state of the country: a sun-faded flag stretched across a doorway, reading less as welcome than as barrier.
